Graeme Mathews is a comedian and magician from Essex. His entertainment career started way back in 2002 when he worked as a resident entertainer at a holiday park in Great Yarmouth and he has worked professionally as a performer ever since. Graeme’s extensive entertainment career has included performing in theatre shows, comedy clubs, sporting dinners, corporate events, holiday centres, theme parks, festivals, farm parks, pantomimes and performing at over 1500 children’s birthday parties! In 2007 Graeme made his Television debut on a BBC1 talent show called When Will I Be Famous hosted by Graham Norton. In 2019 he auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and Reached the Live Shows. In Graeme’s Britain’s Got Talent audition his comedy magic routine got him a standing ovation from the whole of the London Palladium audience and the 4 judges, with David Walliams saying ‘You just have funny bones’ and Simon Cowell adding ‘There’s something about you, you’re very confident’.
Graeme is also a seasoned Pantomime performer and is currently resident Panto comic at the Princes Theatre in Clacton-on-Sea. In June 2022 he made his international performing debut appearing in 28 sold out shows at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town South Africa as part of the Cape Town Funny Festival. His unusual blend of comedy club style stand up mixed with magic and variety makes him one of the most unique acts on the UK Comedy Circuit.
